How much does an earthworks job cost?
It depends on access, how much material is moving, ground conditions and whether spoil needs carting away. Rather than guess over the phone, Max comes out, looks at the site and gives you a free written quote, so you know the number before anything starts.
Do you take on small residential jobs?
Yes. Post holes, one trench, levelling a pad for a shed, a soggy patch of lawn that needs draining — small jobs are welcome. Plenty of contractors won’t bother. We will.
Can you get into a tight backyard?
Usually. Max runs compact gear that fits through most standard gateways and side accesses, so the machine reaches the back of the section without taking out fences or paths to get there. Tell him what the access looks like and he’ll tell you straight whether it’ll fit.
Are you insured and health & safety compliant?
Yes to both, on every site. Documentation can be provided on request — just ask when you get in touch.
How soon can you start?
It moves week to week, and Waikato weather has a vote. Call Max and he’ll tell you honestly where you’d sit in the schedule rather than promise something he can’t hit.
Do you work with builders and landscapers?
Regularly. If you’re a trade needing a reliable digger and operator for site cuts, footings or trenching, get in touch about ongoing work.
Do you remove the dirt afterwards?
If you want it gone, yes — spoil removal and cartage is part of what we do, and it gets priced into the quote so there’s no surprise at the end.
